In late July, North Korean flood victims caused by flooding in the Yalu River basin completed a four-month "Pyongyang killing."

The Korean Central News Agency reported that the flood victims wrote a group thank-you letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying they are facing a passionate time of returning to their hometowns.

The news agency introduced that the flood victims were the first to rush to Chairman Kim's children, give him strength, and express their sincerity as a loving and thoughtful biological father.

Chairman Kim ordered 15,000 flood victims to stay in Pyongyang when flood damage occurred in North Pyongan Province, Jagang Province, and Yanggang Province last summer, and visited their Pyongyang residences and class sites several times.
