A fire broke out at around 1:30 p.m. today (20th) at a hill in Hwado-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
No one was injured in the fire.
The Korea Forest Service and fire authorities deployed 13 equipment and 51 personnel, including a helicopter, to completely extinguish the fire at around 2:30 p.m.
Forest authorities plan to deploy a forest fire investigation team to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the area of damage.
