The cold wave is also hitting, and both Gangwon and Chungcheong regions are under heavy snow and cold wave warnings at the same time.

Even now, it's still snowing in the wind.

We are near Palbongsan Mountain in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do.

It is a place where the snow-covered winter rock mountains and the Hongcheon River flow.

It snowed heavily in Gangwon and the region from early this morning.

The heavy snow warning came into effect, but now most of it has been lifted except in the mountains and the southern part of Yeongseo.

If you look at the cumulative snowfall, it is about 10cm around the mountainous area.

I was wondering what it would be like because it was a weekend Saturday, but the first stage of emergency was issued in advance, and fortunately, the road snow removal is in good condition.

No snow damage has been reported.

It is predicted that 1 to 5cm more snow will fall by this afternoon.

The problem is the unwelcome customer after the heavy snow, the cold wave.

In Gangwon Province, a rather warm December continued, and the scheduled winter festival was postponed.

Today, as soon as the snow stops, a cold wave warning is in place in Yeongseo and most of the mountains in Gangwon Province.

Near the bridges and tunnels in Gangwon Province, where there are many bridges and tunnels, it can be icy or slippery, so you have to slow down.
