A fire broke out in the bathroom on the first basement floor of a detached house in Goean-dong, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 7:10 a.m. today (21st).
No one was hurt when a resident woke up to the sound of a residential fire alarm as it self-evolved into running water before the flames grew.
Fire authorities believe the fire started in the washing machine in the bathroom and are investigating the cause of the fire.
