According to the data released by Kim Sung-hoe of the Democratic Party of Korea, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's regional investigation team compiled a list of 104 emergency waiters, 20 for each of the five investigative units, including anti-corruption, on the night of the emergency martial law.
And it turned out that 81 of the investigators on the emergency waiting list actually waited in the office from 0:25 a.m. to 2 a.m. on the 4th, before the National Assembly passed a resolution to lift the emergency martial law.
Earlier, National Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho claimed that shortly after the martial law was declared, he ignored the request of the Defense Security Command to "prepare 100 investigators to form a joint investigation headquarters."
