The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law investigation team reportedly went on a business trip to an intelligence agency in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province on the 19th and 20th to secure statements from officials on whether or not an arrest team was formed and instructions at the time of martial law.
The intelligence agency is suspected of sending agents to the Central Election Commission in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, immediately after the declaration of the emergency martial law and mobilizing members of the North Korean Workers' Union to arrest and kidnap NEC employees.
Moon Sang-ho, the intelligence commander, and Roh Sang-won, the former commander of the intelligence unit, who were accused of being involved in the allegations, are under investigation by the Joint Investigation Headquarters in custody.
