Park Sun-young, chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Committee, who attended a plenary session of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, was sent off at the request of opposition lawmakers.

Opposition lawmakers, including Yoon Gun-young of the Democratic Party of Korea, called for Park's dismissal, saying that President Yoon Suk Yeol appointed Park three days after the rebellion, and that the appointment of a problematic person in an abnormal situation was invalid.

On the other hand, the ruling party opposed the exit, saying it was a legitimate appointment in the process and that personal attacks and defamatory actions should not be taken.

Chairman Park left the conference hall protesting that he was asked to attend, not come by himself.
