Secretary-General Kim explained at the plenary session of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, saying that the person in charge seems to have decided whether to post it or not only with legal provisions related to the pre-election campaign.
He added that the committee's resolution this afternoon will reveal the criteria for authoritative interpretation.
Earlier, the NEC allowed the Cho Kuk Innovation Party to post a banner targeting Rep. Jeong Yeon-wook, the People's Power, saying, "An accomplice in a civil war," but it was controversial as it did not allow Rep. Chung's banner, which said, "Still, Lee Jae-myung can't do it."
