Civic group "Acting Han Deok-soo should immediately promulgate the Special Prosecutor Act"

In order for civic groups to find out the whole rebellion and punish those involved, Acting President Han Deok-soo urged the National Prosecutor's Office to promulgate the Special Prosecutor Act as soon as possible.

The People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy held a press conference in front of the government building in Seoul and claimed that the independent counsel law is needed to prevent confusion and conflict in the investigation system.

He then criticized acting authority Han for delaying the fear by considering the exercise of the right to demand reconsider the independent counsel law, buying time for the destruction of evidence for participants in the insurrection.

He also emphasized that if an acting authority rejects the National Assembly's decision and the people's order, democracy will be in crisis again, and that he will be held accountable.
