This year's sunrise event will feature a fireworks show and works composed of LED lights from 5 a.m. to provide a wealth of attractions.
Ulju-gun plans to set up four situation rooms, including the event safety support team and the traffic safety support team, and to prevent accidents such as preventing concentration of tourists and controlling access.
In addition, 16 traffic control centers will be set up, 126 personnel will be deployed to manage traffic, and shuttle buses will be operated at 6 external parking lots.
Lee Soon-gul, the governor of Ulju, said, "We will put all our energy into preventing accidents and managing events with safety as the top priority so that we can successfully hold the New Year's event next year."
