The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters Special Investigation Team said today (23rd) that former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun refused to be interviewed by the police.

The special investigation team said it tried to investigate former Minister Kim, who is under arrest, with the cooperation of the prosecution this afternoon, but Kim refused.

He also explained that after refusing to investigate the interview, the police delivered a written questionnaire through their lawyer, but former Minister Kim informed them of his position that he refused to make a collective statement.

Former Minister Kim was one of 12 people who attended the Cabinet meeting held five minutes before the martial law declaration, and the police completed the investigation of all of them except President Yoon Suk Yeol and former Minister Kim.
