The People's Power argued that the National Assembly should discuss the status and authority of the acting president, Woo Won-sik, asking acting president Han Deok-soo to fulfill his duty to recommend candidates for permanent special prosecution.

Floor spokesman Park Soo-min said in a National Assembly briefing that the issue is very hot, and the revision of the related rules, which excluded the ruling party from the candidate recommendation committee, was subject to a request for a competent dispute trial.

He then pointed out that pressuring the acting president without a trial by the Constitutional Court could be an unnecessary shake.

At the same time, the Democratic Party reiterated that the acting president should take the center stage and support him to take care of people's livelihoods and security at a severe time, and that he should not bring the acting president into sharp matters.
