As the number of elderly jobs increases, about one in three elderly people aged 65 or older are employed.

According to the 2023 life-stage administrative statistics released by the National Statistical Office, 3,122,000 elderly people were registered as of October last year.

Compared to a year ago, the number of elderly jobs increased by 255,000 and the proportion of employed also increased from 31.7% to 32.9%.
