Ahead of the transition to the emergency committee, the People's Power will convene a general meeting of lawmakers today (24th) to elect the next emergency committee chairman.

In the party, opinions have been divided into a "one-top system" in which acting chairman Kwon Sung-dong should concurrently hold office for the time being and a "two-top system" in which the chairman of the emergency committee should be elected separately.

At the previous meeting of each player, opinions were gathered under a "two-top system," and five-term lawmakers Kwon Young-se and Na Kyung-won were mentioned as specific candidates.
