The prosecution demanded a four-year prison term today (24th) at the Seoul High Court, demanding that all charges be found guilty, including Yoo's memorial service and the destruction of evidence teacher.
In his closing statement, Yoo said, "I still find it hard to handle the shame and guilt, but I appreciate the opportunity for reflection that I have never had before and that I will do everything in my power to correct and recover."
After hearing both sides' positions, the court decided to proceed with the sentence on February 18 next year.
Earlier, Yoo was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial for repeatedly administering medical propofol under the guise of cosmetic procedures and illegally prescribing sleeping pills in the name of another person.
The first trial court found Yoo innocent, saying there was a lack of evidence on charges of recommending smoking marijuana or destroying evidence to his acquaintance.
