The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will introduce a time-off system and exemption system for civil servants' working hours for the first time among provincial and provincial offices of education nationwide from January 1 next year.

Time-off is a system that guarantees union activities during working hours while receiving wages.

The scope of union activities that can receive wages includes consultation with the superintendent of education, safety and health activities, and union maintenance.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced a time-off limit for full-time civil servants and teachers unions in November, following the implementation of the revised Civil Service and Teachers Union Act late last year.
