Firefighters came to the rescue after a series of hiker injuries in Hallasan and Oreum on Jeju Island.

At around 7:23 a.m. today, the fire department received a report that a 52-year-old A injured his arm in an accident while hiking on the course of Gwaneumsa Temple in Hallasan Mountain.

Firefighters rescued A, who fractured his arm, and took him to a hospital.

In addition, at around 7:57 a.m., 65-year-old B was rescued from Keunokomeoreum, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, after injuring his ankle while going down the mountain.

Earlier in the afternoon of yesterday, a hiker in his 60s was taken to a hospital after injuring his ankle while going down the mountain.
