In a call with YTN, a parliamentary official said the situation will have to be watched as the ruling and opposition parties disagree over whether the motion for the appointment of three candidates for the Constitutional Court will be processed at tomorrow's plenary session.
An official from the People's Power Party also predicted that it would be difficult in the atmosphere at a time when the Democratic Party is seeking to impeach acting President Han Deok-soo in connection with the appointment of a constitutional judge.
Park Sung-joon, the deputy floor leader of the Democratic Party, also said in an interview with MBC radio that he wanted to hold working-level discussions such as agendas, but the people's power was not ready, and that it would be quite difficult to take the first step of the consultative body.
