The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced today (26th) that it has paid about 1.5 billion won in compensation to 74 corruption and public interest reporters in the fourth quarter of this year.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission said it decided to pay compensation after deliberation and resolution by the Compensation Review Committee and a full committee.

In addition, about 130 million won in compensation was set aside after the CEO of a company was reported to have received training support for the parallel work-study system after falsely conducting attendance management with public machines.

The total amount of income recovery decided by public institutions due to such corruption and public interest reports amounted to 56.8 billion won.
