The Korea Meteorological Administration said the weather will not interfere with seeing the last sunset and the first sunrise of the new year as it is mostly sunny on the last day of this year and on the first day of the new year.
The last sunset of this year will begin at 5:05 p.m. on Dokdo and the last sun will set at 5:16 p.m. in Gangneung, 5:25 p.m. in Daejeon, and 5:24 p.m. in Seoul.
The first sunrise of the new year will begin at 7:26 p.m. on Dokdo, at 7:32 p.m. in Busan and 7:32 p.m. in Gangneung, and the first sunrise of the new year will be seen at 7:47 p.m. in Seoul.
