The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit has been calling Colonel Kim Bong-gyu, an intelligence officer suspected of abuse of authority, as a suspect since this morning (26th).
The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit reportedly checks against Colonel Kim on the pre-mocking process of martial law, centered on former intelligence commander Roh Sang-won, and the conversations at the hamburger restaurant meeting.
Colonel Kim is suspected of pre-mocking martial law with former commander Roh, intelligence commander Moon Sang-ho and intelligence officer Colonel Jung Sung-wook at a hamburger restaurant in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, on the 1st, two days before the emergency martial law.
Colonel Kim, along with Colonel Chung, is on the list of "Second Investigation Team," which is suspected of being a private organization of former commander Roh and a separate party for the control of the NEC.
The police handed over Colonel Kim, Colonel Jeong, and Colonel Ko Dong-hee of Intelligence to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit on the 24th.
