First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun held a meeting with Japan's Vice Foreign Minister Masataka Okano in Tokyo, Japan, to discuss the overall relationship between the two countries and ways to cooperate with South Korea, the U.S. and Japan.
At the meeting, Vice Minister Kim emphasized that the Korean government has been running state affairs stably under the acting president system, and explained that all future processes will be based on the Constitution and laws within the framework of democratic procedures.
The two vice ministers agreed to maintain and develop bilateral relations in the future, and agreed to continue close exchanges and cooperation.
