Acting President Han Deok-soo made the remarks at a luncheon with the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, Amcham, and major American investment companies at the Prime Minister's Office in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, today (26th).
Han said, "The recent domestic political situation may worry U.S. and other foreign companies, but we will do our best to resolve them quickly," adding, "If there are difficulties in business activities, the government will always communicate and resolve them."
Amcham emphasized that the Korean business will continue as it is now, but added that it is essential to maintain a predictable and stable regulatory environment considering the launch of the second Trump administration and the APEC summit to be held in Korea in 2025.
Acting President Han Deok-soo plans to hold a relay meeting with business organizations in major countries, including China and Europe.
