The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it will do its best to ensure that the impeachment following the emergency martial law situation will not affect the APEC, or the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit, which will be held in Korea next year.

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs preparing for the APEC event said, "We know that there may be some concerns due to the domestic political situation, but we do not change our status as presidents because it is our country that hosted the APEC summit."

At the same time, he stressed that he should not be affected by the domestic political situation, and that he will do his best to prepare so as not to be affected.

Another official also explained that if there is a situation that requires a decision, there is an agency system, so you can report it and decide accordingly, and there is no big problem.
