60.7% of self-owned households last year...0.6% p lower than the previous year

Last year, 60.7% of households owned their own homes in Korea, down 0.6% from the previous year in 2022.

The actual occupancy type was 57.4% for self-employed, 38.8% for lease, and 3.7% for free, a 0.1%p decrease for self-employed compared to the previous year, and the lease and free of charge were the same.

The ratio of home prices to annual income for households is 6.3 times, and the ratio of monthly rent to monthly income for rental households is 15.8%.The proportion of doctors who said

'must own my house' was 87.3%, down 2.3% from 89.6% in the previous year, and the residential area per person was 36㎡, slightly larger than 34.8㎡ in the previous year.
