The General Intelligence Service under Ukraine's Defense Ministry says the loss of North Korean troops is continuing in Kursk, Russia.

He emphasized that the Ukrainian attack defeated the North Korean mortar unit and caused great damage.

The intelligence bureau claimed that the North Korean military, which has been hit at the front line, is in short supply due to problems with its supply.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said more than 3,000 North Korean soldiers were killed or injured in fighting in Kursk.

If this is true, at least a quarter of the North Korean troops in Kursk have been lost.

In August, Ukrainian forces launched a surprise attack on Russia's mainland and once occupied a significant area of Kursk, but gave some back to Russia, which launched a counteroffensive.Russian President Vladimir Putin says he is trying to end the war in Ukraine amid a fierce battle



He also stressed that achieving all the goals of military operations in Ukraine next year is a top priority.

Putin also warned Ukraine could use more of its latest hypersonic ballistic missile, "Oresynik," which was test-fired last month.

Regarding peace negotiations, Putin says Slovakia has offered to provide a venue for negotiations.

As Slovakia is in a neutral position, it has expressed a positive stance, saying it is not opposed to such a proposal.
