The People's Power urged Chairman Woo Won-sik to put the brakes on the opposition's indiscriminate runaway, saying that the impeachment of acting President Han Deok-soo requires more than two-thirds of the registered lawmakers who meet the president's impeachment standards.

Floor leader Kwon Sung-dong said at a floor meeting, "From the commentary on the Constitutional Court Act, the quorum of acting presidential impeachment should be based on the presidential standard. The Democratic Party criticized it like this, saying that it thought that only power would be seized.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, also recently revised his previous position, saying that the Legislative Investigation Office should comply with the presidential standards if the acting president is impeached for his performance as prime minister, but pointed out that it should not be reduced to a "taste investigation office" that focuses on the chairman and the Democratic Party's taste.

Park Hyung-soo, the deputy floor leader, also explained that if the Democratic Party votes on Han for a majority of his registration based on reasons for impeachment when he was prime minister, only the prime minister's duties will be suspended and he can continue his duties as an acting president.
