Many places in the central part of the country will stay below zero all day today, and the southern part will also fall below 5 degrees.

Starting with Chungnam and Honam during the day, snow and rain will expand to southwestern Gyeonggi Province and Chungbuk Province at night, inland to western Yeongnam and Jeju Island.

By tomorrow, heavy snow will fall up to 20cm in Jeonbuk and up to 10cm in the mountains of Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Jeju, and a "heavy snow warning" will be issued.

In particular, strong snow of 1 to 3 cm per hour will be concentrated in Chungcheong and Honam regions.
