The business community expressed concern, saying economic uncertainty increased after the impeachment motion against Acting President Han Duck-soo was passed.

An official from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, "Economic uncertainty has grown in the face of unprecedented conditions," adding, "We are very worried about the impact on the Korean economy, such as a surge in the exchange rate, falling credibility, rising prices, and accelerating the slowdown in domestic demand."

He added that the politicians earnestly appeal to the government to look only at the state and the economy of people's livelihoods and to minimize the vacuum in state affairs as soon as possible.

The Korea Employers Federation said it is very unfortunate that our economy is already in a difficult situation due to the impeachment.

He then expressed concern about the chaotic current situation in which political uncertainty is putting pressure on our economy, stressing that the economy should not deteriorate due to any further political crisis.
