President Yoon appointed an agent ahead of his first trial today (27th).

During the preparation period for the hearing, not only President Yoon's side but also all the representatives of the National Assembly attended to explain the basic position to the court.

At around 9 a.m., five hours before the first preparation date for the impeachment trial, President Yoon submitted a proxy appointment.

Attorneys Bae Bo-yoon, who was a public information officer at the Constitutional Court during former President Park Geun Hye's impeachment trial,
Lawyer Bae Jin-han, a former judge who is a classmate of President Yoon's law school at Seoul National University,
Lawyer Yoon Gap-geun, former head of the Daegu High Prosecutor's Office, joined

From the first preparation date, there was a prospect that President Yoon's representatives would not attend, but he attended the trial and expressed his position

He also said that President Yoon could come to the impeachment trial court in person when the time is right.

All 17 lawyers, led by former acting Constitutional Court President Kim Yi-soo and former National Human Rights Commission Chairman Song Doo-hwan, attended the National Assembly's prosecution committee.

In particular, Chung Chung-rae, chairman of the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee, who headed the impeachment prosecution, continued to criticize President Yoon intensely before the trial.
