The police strongly protested that the raid on the presidential safety house was canceled due to the restriction of the security service.

The police will soon call in Presidential Chief of Staff Chung Jin-suk and National Security Office chief Shin Won-sik to investigate.

Reporter Yoon Tae-in's report.

The police attempted to raid the presidential safe house to check who came in and out before and after martial law and what instructions the president received.

However, the Presidential Security Service did not approve the police execution of the warrant, calling it a confidential area for military and official purposes.

The police strongly protested.

According to the Criminal Procedure Act, even the person in charge of a confidential area cannot refuse to accept it unless it harms the state's significant interests,

I asked the bodyguard to specify what this is.

Police review additional seizure and search of the president's safe house to investigate the situation at the time of martial law and the movements of those involved,
We also plan to continue our investigation of senior presidential staff in the
presidential office.

Police are coordinating the investigation schedule for former floor leader Choo Kyung-ho,
Presidential Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok
will also be called to investigate soon.

Along with Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok, Shin Won-sik, head of the National Security Office, submitted a statement of absence to the National Assembly Steering Committee on the 30th, citing the summons of investigative agencies.

Earlier, the Democratic Party filed a complaint with the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit on charges that the two helped and condoned the civil war.

First of all, it seems that they are coordinating with the police about their attendance on the 30th, but the possibility of postponing it again cannot be ruled out.
