A special police team summoned Choo Kyung-ho, former floor leader of the People's Power Party, as a suspect this evening.

Former floor leader Choo is accused of asking National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik to postpone the vote on lifting martial law during martial law on the 3rd, or of obstructing the vote on lifting martial law by convening an emergency general meeting of lawmakers.

In response, the Democratic Party of Korea filed a complaint with the police on the 6th, calling former floor leader Choo an accomplice in rebellion.

The special police team, which launched the investigation, recently obtained a communication warrant for a mobile phone used by former floor leader Choo and secured some of the call details.
