Prosecutors have re-secured the mobile phone of former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, who was arrested and charged with rebellion, in the form of seizure and search.

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law executed a search warrant for former Minister Kim Yong-hyun's mobile phone, which was submitted in the form of a voluntary submission.

A prosecution official explained that the forensic work was carried out once in the form of a voluntary submission, but was suspended due to the lawyer's problem, and that he requested a search warrant to secure additional data.

The prosecution is expected to secure the instructions Kim received from the president of Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim's direct instructions to military officials through the raid.

However, former Minister Kim Yong-hyun's lawyer filed a quasi-appeal with the court, saying that the work was suspended due to objections during the prosecution forensics process, but it was illegal by hiding it and receiving a search warrant.
