While the high-ranking government official's Criminal Investigation Office has notified President Yoon Suk Yeol that he will be investigated today, we are interested in whether President Yoon will actually attend.

President Yoon's side does not have the right to investigate the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and opposes it as an illegal investigation, which seems to mean that he will not attend.

Reporter Kwon Junsu reports.

On the 26th, the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office sent a third request to the president of Yoon Suk Yeol to respond to the summons investigation.

But President Yoon is still not taking it.

The investigation is scheduled at 10 a.m. today, but President Yoon has not even issued a lawyer appointment.President Yoon

criticized that illegal investigations are continuing, saying it is clear that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit does not have the right to investigate.

He said he had no authority to investigate the crime of rebellion, indicating that he would not attend.

He also protested that even though he had security issues as an incumbent president, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit never took any preliminary measures, such as trying to coordinate the schedule in advance.

On the other hand, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit is in a position that it can sufficiently investigate allegations of rebellion for crimes related to abuse of authority.

The position is to review the next procedure after watching the situation in which President Yoon will appear in the investigation.

Usually, if an investigative agency calls more than three times and it doesn't come out, an arrest warrant is requested, so the possibility of a forced investigation cannot be ruled out.

Controversy continues over the prosecution's indictment of former Minister Kim Yong-hyun and disclosure of some of President Yoon's instructions.President

Yoon refuted that the prosecution is making a unilateral claim, saying that it is impossible to distinguish whether it is former Minister Kim's indictment or President Yoon's indictment.

However, the prosecution has already referred to President Yoon as an accomplice of civil war when it handed over former Minister Kim to trial.

Although the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which took over President Yoon's case from the prosecution, even notified him of the third summons, the possibility of the president's attendance still seems low.

Attention is focusing on how the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which showed a strong will to investigate in the early stages, will respond.
