As the national mobilization order was issued immediately after the accident, the Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters provided emergency support for one firefighting helicopter and 10 emergency vehicles in areas adjacent to Muan Airport, including Buan, Jeongeup, and Gochang.
In addition, the construction and transportation director of the Jeonbuk Provincial Government has been dispatched to Muan Airport to determine whether to provide additional support or not.
In particular, there is no international airport in the Jeollabuk-do region, so as provincial residents use Gwangju or Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do, they are paying keen attention to the possibility that some of the passengers could be on board.
