An official from the presidential office said that shortly after the accident, the presidential office held a senior meeting presided over by the chief of staff for about an hour from 11:30 a.m. today after receiving a report from the state affairs office.
He then said the results of the meeting were reported to Acting President Choi Sang-mok.
At the meeting held at the presidential office in Yongsan, the participants reportedly intensively discussed ways to deal with the accident, including saving lives.
