Governor Kim Kwan-young said at an emergency meeting, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to all those who have been affected and their families," adding, "Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will mobilize all resources and strengthen cooperation with related organizations to support victims and deal with accidents."
Jeonbuk Province, which formed a task force, dispatched 40 personnel, including 28 paramedics, and 14 equipment to the site.
In line with government support, Jeollabuk-do decided to come up with support measures at the Jeonbuk level and discuss disaster relief supplies and disaster relief fund support with Jeollanam-do.
