The Yoon Suk Yeol's immediate resignation and emergency action for social reform, consisting of more than 1,500 civil and social organizations, issued a statement today (29th) and prayed for the souls of the victims who died in the disaster.
Emergency Action asked that support for victims, including bereaved families, can be given top priority in the process of government authorities' response and recovery.
10.29 The Itaewon Disaster Citizens' Countermeasures Conference and the bereaved family council also expressed their consolation and solidarity.
They stressed the need to ensure that the bereaved families and the injured have sufficient information on the disaster and receive the necessary support.
The emergency action is also being discussed to postpone a large-scale impeachment rally in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 31st.
