Police have formed a large-scale investigation headquarters in connection with the Muan Airport plane accident.
The prosecution formed an accident response headquarters headed by the head of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare also issued an emergency medical posture called "Code Orange."

Police have organized a 260-member investigation headquarters led by the head of the Jeonnam Police Agency's investigation department to investigate the collision of the Jeju Air plane at Muan Airport.
The police decided to send more than 160 scientific investigators to help with on-site inspection, protection of victims, and psychological counseling for bereaved families.
In addition, more than 500 people, including members of the Jeonnam Police Agency, were mobilized, including the emergency of Gapho in the Muan area to support on-site search and accident recovery.
The police explained that they will focus on identifying the dead and will investigate the cause of the accident with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Air Railroad Accident Investigation Committee.
The prosecution also set up an accident countermeasure headquarters headed by the head of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office.
The 16 prosecutors will focus on finding out the cause and truth of the accident in cooperation with related agencies such as police and fire fighting.
The prosecution also stressed that it will focus on initial responses to provide active support to victims and their bereaved families.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare has issued an emergency medical posture "Code Orange," which is issued in the event of a major casualty.
Accordingly, all three disaster medical support teams in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do were deployed to the accident site, and second vice minister Park Min-soo was dispatched to the accident site.
