Muan-gun explained that the transmission was delayed as it focused on dealing with the accident.

This is a disaster text posted on the National Disaster Safety Portal managed by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security's disaster text broadcasting operation regulations, disaster information should be quickly entered into the disaster text broadcasting system if a disaster causes or is expected, but the regulations were not properly followed.

Local residents who watched the scene of the accident were puzzled by the belated disaster text.

Muan-gun, who sent the disaster text message, explained that transmission was delayed due to many inquiries in the process of dealing with the accident.

He also added that he did not decide that it was necessary to send it immediately after the accident because it was not a place with a lot of traffic.

On the other hand, nearby Yeonggwang-gun was controversial by including the contents of the emergency disaster text and consoling the bereaved family who had nothing to do with the disaster.

In this regard, an official from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security drew a line saying that it is not related to the disaster text message sending, only using the Ministry of Public Administration and Security system.

Critics point out that disaster texts introduced to quickly spread disaster situations did not work properly.
