King Charles III of the United Kingdom expressed his condolences over the Jeju Air plane disaster at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province.

According to the BBC on the 29th local time, King Charles III issued a statement saying, "I am deeply saddened to learn about the terrible aviation accident that caused severe casualties in Muan."

Charles III continued, "As the Korean people mourn the disaster, I pray for all the victims' families and loved ones."

Prime Minister Keir Starmer also expressed his "deepest condolences" and said, "I pay tribute to the hard work of emergency responders and extend my heart to the people of South Korea and Thailand at this terrible time."

Earlier, Foreign Minister David Lammy wrote on X, "I send my heartfelt condolences to the Korean and Thai people, and to all who have lost loved ones."
