3 people die after eating cake with family in Brazil...Poison detection in the blood

AFP recently reported that a family member complained of abdominal pain in a group after eating cake in the Tohes area of the southern state of Hiugrangi do Sul, and three of the six people who ate cake died while being treated at a hospital.

Brazilian police say arsenic, a poisonous substance, was detected in the blood of some of the dead, and the woman who made the cake is also being treated at a hospital.

The woman's ex-husband who baked the cake died in September after showing symptoms of food poisoning, and although no charges were made at the time, Brazilian police have opened a re-investigation into the cause of death after the incident.

In particular, Brazilian police asked for permission to excavate the body of their ex-husband, and local media in Brazil introduced family ties and said there was high public interest in the incident.
