"Memorial Wall Instead of Sunrise" New Year's Event Cancelled on the East Coast of North Gyeongsang Province

In the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, New Year's sunrise events in the East Coast region of Gyeongsangbuk-do were canceled one after another.

Pohang City, Gyeongbuk Province, canceled the 'Korean Sunrise Festival' scheduled to be held at Homigot from tomorrow afternoon (31st) to New Year's Day.

However, regardless of the event, we decided to set up tents and convenience facilities for visitors to Korea and set up memorial walls for victims of the disaster.

Gyeongju City also canceled the bell ringing event scheduled near the Silla Daejong and Bonghwangdae, and Yeongdeok County also decided not to hold the Gyeongbuk Daejong bell ringing ceremony at Samsa Marine Park.
