Lotte World Tower's 'New Year's Countdown' canceled... "Mourning lights until January 4th."

Lotte C&T has decided to light a mourning light at the Lotte World Tower in Jamsil from today to the 4th of next month to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

The lighting time is from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition, the Lotte World Tower New Year's countdown event, which was originally scheduled for midnight tomorrow, was canceled.

An official from Lotte C&T said, "We decided to light the mourning lights during the national mourning period set by the government to commemorate the souls of the victims who unfortunately changed their names."

Lotte World Tower also turned on white lights on the top floor to mourn the victims during the Itaewon disaster in 2022.
