Two victims in Iksan...the dispatch of a dedicated official to the bereaved family

Iksan, North Jeolla Province, said it has dispatched a dedicated official to the bereaved family of the Jeju Air plane disaster at Muan International Airport to provide support.

According to Iksan City, two Iksan citizens, a couple in their 70s, were found to have been killed in the disaster.

Iksan City dispatched dedicated personnel to the site on the day of the accident to support bereaved families, including recovery of victims and funeral procedures.

Iksan Mayor Chung Heon-yul said, "We are sad and heartbroken that two citizens were sacrificed in a sudden accident," adding, "We will carefully support the bereaved families so that integrated support for identification, recovery, and funerals of victims can be provided quickly without inconvenience."
