After the Jeju Air flight disaster, citizens who are about to travel canceled their reservations for Jeju Air tickets.

After the plane crash, anxiety seems to have risen mainly among those who tried to use Jeju Air.

According to Jeju Air on the 30th, the number of flight cancellations from 0 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the previous day was about 68,000.

On various social networking services (SNS), such as X (formerly Twitter), there are articles on how to cancel the boarding pass after the Jeju Air plane accident.

Author A said, "Those who made a reservation on Jeju Air's official website can cancel without a fee without having to make a 1:1 inquiry or call the call center."

Another user, B, also said, "It is said that it will exempt all flight cancellation fees booked until the time of the Jeju Air accident," adding, "If you made a reservation with a travel agency, you can take off the travel agency issuance fee."

C, who booked a flight ticket to Japan on the official Jeju Air website, said, "I booked it quickly after seeing the special ticket last month, but after seeing the news of the accident, I was so scared and uncomfortable that I was wondering if I could fly for the time being."

Meanwhile, Jeju Air is conducting a free cancellation process for inquiries from customers who made reservations through its official website. However, it is known that a cancellation fee will be charged if a reservation is made through an agency rather than the airline's official website.
