Jeju Air said it has no plans to suspend the operation of the aircraft amid growing safety concerns due to another landing gear abnormality a day after the plane's disaster.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has decided to conduct a full inspection of the accident model, Boeing 737-800.

As safety concerns were raised due to a series of landing gear problems, Jeju Air said it would conduct a more thorough inspection.
In particular, 39 of Jeju Air's 41 aircraft are the same model as the accidental passenger plane and the return passenger plane.
As passengers became anxious, 68,000 Jeju Air tickets were canceled one day after the plane disaster.
However, Jeju Air drew a line on the suspension of flights.

Regarding the airline's own special inspection, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will follow the special inspection.

He said he will also proceed with the necessary funeral procedures in the way the bereaved family wants.
After that, when the funeral process is completed, insurance-related consultations will also begin at the time the bereaved family wants.
Jeju Air said the plane is distributed to five insurance companies and has been re-registered in the UK, and officials from British reinsurers have entered the country and started discussions.
