A civic step has begun to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air plane accident.
The Osan community was greatly saddened when four citizens who were on a trip to celebrate their grandfather's 80th birthday were identified as victims of the disaster.

The day after the accident, local governments across the country set up a joint memorial altar and joined the memorial service for the victims.
Citizens who visited the memorial altar with a miserable heart shed tears, saying it didn't feel like it was anyone else's business,

Together with the child, we commemorated the victims of the disaster and announced how our society can join the sadness.

Many citizens were also concerned about the bereaved families of the victims.
He prayed for the stability of the bereaved family and the rest of the victims, saying, 'It would be hard to express sorrow in words.'

Not a few citizens shared their sorrows, saying they were heartbroken to the point that it was hard to fall asleep.

The memorial altar will run until the 4th of next month, the national mourning period, amid a series of visits across the country to commemorate the victims of the accident.
