Taean Maritime Police Station said it found one of the five missing people during the search at around 6 a.m. today (31st) and moved them to a hospital.
Earlier, around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, a roadway carrying vehicles or cargo overturned in waters near Gopado Island, Palbong-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.
Seven people are believed to have been aboard the ship, two were rescued by the Coast Guard, but the other five were missing.
One more person was found in the more than 12-hour search, but four others have yet to be found.
The Coast Guard is continuing its search by sending patrol ships and aircraft to the scene.
Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Robber asked the Korea Coast Guard to do its best to save and search lives by mobilizing all available means.
