On the day of the disaster, you did a "fire show"...In the end, cruise ships are "6 months off"
On the afternoon of the 29th, Han River Hallyu Fireworks Cruise / X Capture held on the Han River near Yeouido, Seoul
On the 29th, the day of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, a cruise ship company that pushed ahead with fireworks on board at the Han River in Yeouido, Seoul, was banned from operating for six months.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government issued a statement on the 30th and said, "We have decided to impose a strong disposition on Hyundai Marine Leisure, which pushed ahead with the Han River cruise ship fireworks show."

As a result, Hyundai Marine Leisure will not be able to operate cruise ships between the Gyeongin Ara Waterway and Wonhyo Bridge on the Han River until June next year.

The company is a cruise ship operator that mainly operates the Ara Waterway, and has operated the Han River cruise ships in Seoul more than 400 times a year (one to two times a day).

Earlier, at around 2:40 p.m. the day before, the city asked Hyundai Marine Leisure to cancel the event scheduled for the evening. The move is aimed at asking for consideration of the atmosphere of remembrance related to the plane accident.

However, the company pushed ahead with the fireworks cruise at around 6:30 p.m. the previous evening, saying it was difficult to cancel because it had already been booked.

Hyundai Marine Leisure posted an apology the previous evening, saying, "I am truly sorry that we carried out such an event in the midst of a major disaster," in the wake of a series of protests from citizens.
